" Steve has a unique ability to connect with players of all levels and as a former D1 player he understands the work ethic players must have to reach their dreams. He has done a great job for me training players locally and overseas in China. Our players have gotten much better with his expertise!"
Steve focuses on the details. He watches his players very carefully during every workout (and has even attended some of her games) and is always fine-tuning one's form to get it right. And at times when new moves get harder and one loses the handle, he is always quick to say "Stay with it..." And that's really what it's all about with Steve. He has the patience and planning to produce huge results over the long term. He has helped my older daughter with every aspect of the game - ball-handling, shooting, defense, footwork, finishing, game strategy, etc. My daughter's improvement did not happen overnight, it took time, effort and perseverance. Steve built her game up one stepping stone at a time. She would not be the player that she is today without his professional guidance over the past four years
I've known Steve for awhile now (since 2015) when he started training my sons. There are so many things I admire about him. His passion first and foremost. You get a sense of his love for the game of basketball the moment you start a conversation with him. Steve's approach as a coach and a trainer is exemplary. He is great at assessing and focusing on the player's potentials and help him/her hone-in and strengthen their skills. He is also keen to each player's individuality and caters his approach accordingly. What is also impressive is how freely he shares his knowledge and dispense advice to the young players.
I have no doubt that Steve/NDO Training will be immensely successful and I'm glad that we're here to witness it and be a part of his journey.
